What is Number Guard?
Number Guard stores all the contacts
in your mobile's phone book and allows you to restore all, or
some of them using SMS (subject to terms
& conditions). Using the Number Guard service means that you will
never lose your phone book, and makes upgrading your mobile, or
replacing a lost or stolen mobile much easier.
Will my mobile work with
Number Guard?
The Number Guard service will only work with those
mobile phones listed in our 'Phones' page.
If your mobile is not listed remember to check and see if it is
compatible with our 'One-Click' SyncYourMobile service.
If your mobile is not listed in either section, you can use our
Number Backup Online storage service, as it is compatible with any
mobile phone.
How do I save my contacts?
You can send them using SMS from your mobile phone or you can input them online in your secure account area.
Can I edit contacts on-line?
Yes. You can add, amend or delete any contacts or numbers from your secure, online account area.
How do I restore my contacts?
Individual or multiple contacts are sent using SMS.
SMS can be purchased in packs of 50, priced at £4.99 per pack or packs of 25 @ £2.99. You require 1 SMS per contact you wish to restore using SMS. Each contact name can have several numbers stored against it.
I have some contacts stored in my phone memory and some contacts stored in my SIM card memory. What difference does this make?
None.
Can I send SMS text messages and e-mail from my Number Guard account?
Yes. You can send SMS and e-mails to single or multiple contacts contained in your online account (requires a suitable e-mail client on your PC).
Can I use any UK mobile network?
Yes. Number Guard is compatible with all UK networks.
Can I switch between the different services?
Yes! You automatically have use of both the SyncYourMobile service and StoreYourNumbers.
